William E. Davis

speaking on

"From Hazard to Amman:

A Journey to Find One People and One God"

Attorney, court practitioner, and principal and founder of DPK Consulting, William E. Davis has extensive international experience in the areas of justice system reform and conflict resolution. Davis has coordinated projects focusing on justice system reform and alternative dispute resolution in Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Venezuela, Mexico and other nations. He is a leader in the movement to improve the rule of law internationally. Davis received his law degree from the University of Kentucky, and his Bachelor's degree from Transylvania University. Davis has been a member of the Baha'i community since 1974. He helped to form the First Local Spiritual Assembly in Frankfort, KY, in 1975. Since then, he has served at the Baha'i World Center in Haifa, the National Teaching Committee, the National Social and Economic Development Committee, and the National Spiritual Assembly. He was a delegate to the Baha'i International Conventions in 1988, 1993, and 1998. He retired from service on the Baha'i National Spiritual Assembly in May, 2007.

In his address, Davis will discuss his experience with, and the importance of, finding common ground among people as a path to conflict resolution and peaceful living.Tickets.

Parking.  Drop off passengers at the canopy on Cathedral Way.  Free parking is available at the lot at the corner of North Upper and Church Streets.
