Faces of Faith - July 1

This extraordinary gathering will take place in downtown Lexington. Kentucky.   Uniting people from many of the world's religious
traditions, including Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist and Hindu under the roof of the Kentucky Theater, the event that will celebrate our religious pluralism and affirm in spoken word, image, and song the many ways we have of being religious in our country .  The Main Event will take place at the Kentucky Theater at 7:30 p.m..  Admission is free.

Additional plans include an International Food Fair starting at 6:00 p.m. (click vendors to see a list of the restaurants and other organizations who will be providing food) on Esplanade, and a Street Dance immediately following the main event (9 - 11 p.m.).  We will hold a Conversation Cafe simultaneously with the street dance.  All are invited to the Cafe (at nearby Central Christian Church) to join in a community conversation about how we can honor and enjoy the religious diversity that makes Central KY such a vital place to live.
